the vband clamps on the headers had small leaks, that were bleeding off exhaust pressure, and the turbo still had its .81 A/R housing which was killing it at the time. i have since switched to a .58A/R and fixed the leaks which it helped the spool time dramaticly, but it still wouldnt really get into boost 'till around 5Krpms...... im thinking stepping down to a T3 housing/wheel will bring the RPM range down a tad, and mabye stepping down from a 3" mid pipe to a 2.5" might also help keep the velocity alittle higher and help spool.
